I love playing @ Gores landing on Rice lake. I used to go up there on weekends and there was a stream that ran down the side of the property. I would have to cross it to get to Ray Pomeroy’s Houseboat which contained a wood shop.
The funny farm was a beautiful farmhouse in Collingwood that my father’s good friend Patrick Hengen owned. We would go up there quite often over the winters to go Skiing.
