Laser Engraving Basics with Andrew Howlett

Learn how to set up and operate the Epilog CO2 Laser Engravers at Grey Bruce Makers. In this hands-on course, you will be introduced to the fundamentals of CorelDRAW, explore materials suitable for laser engraving, and master setup and safety procedures. This class is a required certification for members who wish to use the laser engravers on their own.

Sourdough Experience – Level I

Enjoy this hands-on baking experience at Red Hen Artisanale. Each participant will make two loaves of sourdough bread and create their own seasonal galette – a rustic, open-faced pie – utilizing all of the different characteristics that a healthy sourdough starter has to offer.

Lighthouse Fun Run
April 26
Complete the course and celebrate with a complimentary refreshing beverage at the finish line, courtesy of Three Sheets Brewing (for participants 19 and older). The event features a Kids 1km Fun Run at 12:30 PM, followed by both the 10km Timed Run and the 5km Timed Run, Jog, or Walk at 1:00 PM. Proceeds support the YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey, Bruce and West Simcoe.
